Chris Glissman didn't follow a script to success — he wrote his own. From installing cable in crawlspaces to launching one of the pet industry's most recognizable brands, his journey has been built on grit, instinct, and a relentless drive to solve overlooked problems. Chris is the founder of Meowijuana®, co-founder of CartTrac LLC and Onawave Wireless, and the driving force behind CG2RE LLC.
Early Career — Boots on the Ground
Raised in a small farm town in northeastern Nebraska, Chris began his career as a Field Engineer at Utili-Comm LLC, installing cable internet, TV, and phone systems. He later joined MicroLNK, where he helped bring wireless internet to underserved rural communities in Nebraska and Iowa.
In 2004, he co-founded Onawave Wireless, providing internet access down the I-29 corridor from Sioux City, IA to Omaha, NE. From tower climbs to hands-on installs, Chris built his reputation as someone who could take on complex infrastructure challenges and deliver real solutions.
GPS Innovation — CartTrac LLC
Chris served as CTO at GPS Technologies, installing GPS systems on golf carts that offered players yardage tools and operators full fleet tracking. He helped pioneer an on-screen advertising platform that merged hardware with monetization.
In 2010, he co-founded CartTrac LLC, becoming the first to integrate cellular technology into golf cart GPS units and transition the entire tracking system to the cloud. Over the years, Chris personally installed systems at 1,000+ golf courses across the U.S. and Canada — including the U.S. Navy golf courses in Southern California, which he proudly served for over a decade.
Meowijuana® — Where Humor Meets Quality
In 2015, Chris turned an old inside joke into a global brand. "Meowijuana" was born in a garage with just four SKUs: premium organic catnip in cheeky packaging. What started as a novelty product became a powerhouse in the pet wellness space. Today, Meowijuana® is sold in 7,000+ retail locations around the world, including PetSmart and Petco.
CG2RE LLC — Real Estate with Purpose
In 2023, Chris launched CG2RE LLC, a real estate company focused on affordable housing and long-term value. Inspired by years of listening to Del Walmsley on talk radio, he and Chelsea joined Lifestyles Unlimited as Preferred Investor Group (PIG) members in August 2023. Their vision is to buy and hold single-family homes, expand into more multifamily syndications, and eventually become Independent Rental Owners of their own apartment complex.
Leadership Philosophy
Chris isn't motivated by buzzwords or headlines — he's built businesses from the trenches. He lives by two mottos:
"If you don't want to burn this all to the ground at least twice a week, you're not entrepreneuring hard enough."
"I'd rather work 80 hours for myself than 40 for someone else."
